Bob Gallager
Bob practiced law in Washington, D.C. for 35 years and then began a second career as an environmental advocate. He founded the West/Rhode Riverkeeper program and co-founded the Anne Arundel County Chapter of the Maryland League of Conservation Voters (LCV). He has served on the boards of Maryland LCV, Waterkeepers Chesapeake, and the Scenic Rivers Land Trust. He has received the Chesapeake Bay Trust’s Ellen Fraites Wagner Award and Maryland LCV’s John V. Kabler Memorial Award. He currently chairs the City of Annapolis Board of Appeals.
Bob has salt (and brackish) water in his veins. He has sailed the length of the Chesapeake and across the Atlantic and Pacific Oceans. He lives on Spa Creek with his wife Cate.
