Published: February 9, 2019

The City of Annapolis has unveiled its latest plan for development along the Forest Drive corridor and in Eastport.

The plan, called the Sector Study, identifies a significant amount of new residential and commercial development over the next decade.

In March, the Annapolis City Council will vote on whether to approve the Sector Study and accept it as part of the City’s long-range Comprehensive Plan.

The Annapolis Neck Peninsula Federation will host a public meeting Feb. 28 to review this development plan and the impacts development will have on the quality of life, particularly in the peninsula areas.

The will be in the Eastport-Hillsmere Library, 269 Hillsmere Dr. Meeting starts at 7 p.m.

There will be a presentation of the City’s plan and an interesting panel discussion of its merits and challenges.
