The citation from the City of Annapolis acknowledges David’s role in:
– helping create and run the Back Creek Conservancy,
– promoting environmental programs in the Back Creek watershed, and
– advocating for the No Discharge Zone that will include Annapolis and all of Anne Arundel County.
That’s David in the middle of the picture accepting a donation during the early days of the Back Creek Conservancy.
You can view a presentation on the No Discharge Zone that David made last May during a Severn River Association meeting by clicking here.
Also receiving citations for their environmental work will be Betsy Love of St. Luke’s Episcopal Church and Fred Kelly for his years of service as the Severn Riverkeeper.
Mayor Gavin Buckley will make the presentations at the opening of Monday’s City Council Meeting at 7 pm.
Come out and celebrate with David, Betsy and Fred!
