It’s the rise of the Stand-Up Paddle Board (SUP).

Our special guest speaker will be Capital SUP co-founder Kevin Haigis, and he has quite a fun story to tell!

Kevin will talk about the founding of Capital SUP six years ago and how he and his partners have expanded their company to attract SUP enthusiasts of all ages to visit Annapolis and enjoy the Severn River.

Kevin will also explain why Capital SUP owners and staff volunteer to help out with water quality monitoring and oyster growing programs.

It’s all part of the company’s efforts to ensure that Spa Creek, Back Creek and the Severn River remain healthy waterways where kids of all ages can swim, paddle and enjoy.
