Get involved with Project Clean Stream

Every year, we recruit volunteers from all around the Severn River watershed to lend a helping hand to deal with litter and illegal trash dumps, litter piles and legacy trash sites.

It’s done through Project Clean Stream (PCS). This is an annual trash pick up day organized for the entire Chesapeake Bay watershed by the Alliance for the Chesapeake Bay. Every year, SRA partners with the Alliance to organize cleanup activities on early spring days each spring in and around the Severn River.

PCS gives residents, businesses, communities groups a  chance to work together to clean up our streams, creeks and river.

It’s also a great opportunity for everyone to discover the land-water connection, to see how our everyday actions can adversely affect our waterways.
